First, let me applaud Meryl for all that she does at ARTparenting. From beginning to end, she was there for me in fulfilling my purpose. Becoming a surrogate had always been a thought in the back of my mind and I’m so grateful that Meryl could make it a reality.
Seeing the look on the IP’s faces when they held their son for the first time was priceless. I’m blessed to have been able to help complete their family. Without a doubt, I’ll do it all over again!’
Good news! On May 30, 2018, Governor Phil Murphy signed the Gestational Surrogacy Act, effective immediately.

THE MATCH: Intended Parents Need You. Because we are a small, intimate firm we are able to take great care in matching each gestational surrogate with the right intended parents. For our surrogates, there is no waiting to be matched.
We have many intended parents waiting to build their families. Each surrogate is closely consulted about her individual preferences and who she would most like to help: those who live in the US or overseas, families that already have a child, same-sex couples or other characteristics. Each match is a mutual decision and becomes a true partnership between the surrogate and the intended parents.
A COMPLETE SURROGACY PROGRAM: With our surrogacy program, we oversee everything — from your first contact with us through the birth of the child. You can count on getting all the support you need even before you begin.
Hands-on guidance and over 20 years of experience help ensure a comfortable and coordinated experience. We make sure that our surrogate mothers and our intended parents, have all the information, personal support, and care they need.
A gestational carrier (also known as a gestational surrogate mother) carries a child conceived through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) using the intended mother's egg or one from an egg donor, plus the sperm from the intended father or a sperm donor. The child will not be genetically related to the gestational surrogate.

• the mother of at least one child you are raising,

ARTparenting is now accepting gestational surrogates from New Jersey.
We work with surrogates and intended parents from the state of New Jersey to help build families through our complete surrogacy program.
On May 30, 2018, Governor Phil Murphy signed the Gestational Surrogacy Act, effective immediately.
This new legislation regulates gestational surrogacy agreements and makes them enforceable, while providing protections for all parties involved. It provides for pre-birth orders, allows for payment of reasonable living expenses for the gestational carrier, in addition to medical, legal, and counseling expenses during the pregnancy and the post-partum period. Most important, it protects the children born through gestational carrier arrangements.
