One of the many factors in your decision to become a gestational surrogate may be financial. The amount of any payments or ancillary expenses for surrogate mothers in Ohio is based on multiple circumstances. For details, please review Fees and Expenses for Gestational Surrogates and feel free to contact us with your questions about Ohio surrogacy.
A gestational surrogate mother (also known as a gestational carrier) is a woman who carries a child conceived through IVF using an egg from a donor or the intended mother. The child will not be genetically related to the gestational surrogate.
A few of the basic requirements for becoming a gestational surrogate in Ohio – you must be:
• 21 to 43 years old.
• the mother of one or more children.
• a healthy weight.
• willing to help others create a family.
Years of experience, integrity, and hands-on guidance mean that every surrogate has all the information, support and care she needs throughout the process. Our intended parents benefit from our expertise, caring and personalized approach as well. Meryl Rosenberg is known for her dedication to the field of reproductive law and for her leadership in furthering the regulation of third-party parenting. Read about Meryl Rosenberg.
We carefully interview each surrogate about who she would like to work with — whether she prefers to help local or overseas intended parents, those who are single or married, same-sex couples, families that already have a child, or if she has other preferences. A central feature of our program is the focus we place on the matches between the parents and the gestational surrogates.
If you are considering the path of becoming a gestational surrogate, you are a generous and caring woman by nature. You know that raising children is one of the ultimate joys in life, and a willingness to share that joy with others is a gift beyond compare. This is what inspires ARTparenting to help build families through surrogacy.
Helping others to build a family through surrogacy is a wonderful gift. We are grateful for your interest.
